WeatherWings are a new take on wind, weather, and spray deflection for center console boats that hasn’t been offered before and that we hope will fill a genuine need for boaters of all types; from the die-hard fisherman (perhaps especially) to the recreational family who may just want a more pleasant and dry ride.  For those cross-over boaters who want to fish on Saturday and cruise with the family on Sunday, WeatherWings may just be the best thing to happen to center console boats since fiberglass.  ; )

HOW IT WORKS

WeatherWings™ are wind, weather, and spray deflection for center console boats that can be deployed in just seconds. They use a simple rubber mounted hold-back system to secure them in the stowed position, ready for rapid deployment if the need arises.  They don’t take up extra space in your boat’s cockpit or storage compartments and, even in the stowed position, they offer great protection to you and to your console when the boat is underway, sitting on a lift, a trailer, or at the dock. They take about five seconds to set up.

WeatherWings are hinged along the leading edge of your console so you just open them like a door and slide one latch into the gunwale cap and one latch into the overhead and you’re done.

ABOUT US

The father and son team-inventors of WeatherWings are life-long Maryland residents and boaters: a USCG licensed captain/marine consultant (son, Jesse) and a former commercial waterman (father, Alan). After laying awake at night for years dreaming of a better idea for keeping us and our passengers warm and dry while out on our 23’ center console a design was mentally hatched. After a prototype was fabricated, tested, and patented, WeatherWings was born. Alan is fond of saying, “You don’t need a bigger boat, you just need WeatherWings.” We created a product that makes slight drizzle worries, maybe-it-might-rain today stressors, and early Spring temperature issues things of the past. Having WeatherWings on your boat opens up many, many more days per year for you to get out on the water. Even better, you won’t have that daunting prospect of installing a flapping, flexible plastic enclosure and fighting snaps and zippers with frozen fingers.

Just spread your wings.
